Vinyl Colors

We offer 12 different vinyl colors in-stock at EVS Ltd. However, additional custom and contract colors are available. We can assist you in coordinating the color of your seating vinyl with an upholstery-grade vinyl. This medical-grade vinyl is available in cut yardage and is ideal for covering door panels and cabinet trim as well.

Seamless seats and cushions require a special heavy-duty vinyl. We purchase from all major vinyl manufacturers. Cleaning is easy with our advance medi+GARD protective finish; see more on that below the color choices.

Cleanability

Cleaning is made easy with EVS’s selection of vinyls and their protective finish. While staining and soiling from bodily fluids are common in the harsh environment of ambulances, the manufacturer’s sulfide stain-resistant formulation allows most to be removed using the following methods.

Method 1: Light Soiling
Clean with warm water and liquid cleaner such as Formula 409® Cleaner and Degreaser or an equivalent cleaner with a sponge or soft cloth.

Method 2: Heavy Soiling
Clean with a soft white cloth dampened with lighter fluid (naphtha). Rub gently and rinse with a water dampened cloth.

Method 3: Bodily Fluid Stains
Clean with a soft white cloth with a solution of household bleach (sodium hypochlorite); 10% bleach, and 90% water. Rub gently then rinse with a water-dampened cloth to remove bleach concentrate.
